A particular favourite of ours is the Daily Driver competition in the arena on Saturday, we’re not looking for concours cars, far from it what our judges are looking for is something different or something cool, the type of vehicle they would like to own as a daily driver themselves!
So if you have a VW that you love and drive daily then enter it, this is not about been shiny! Basically the judges are looking for something they would love to, or have the balls to, drive everyday!
To enter there is no need to contact us in advance, simply come and get a registration form from the information point.
Park up on the show area by 11.30 am, judging is usually around 2.30pm with trophies at 3.30 giving us time to clear the field before the 5 a side inter club footie competion starts! |

Each year on the main show day, Sunday, we put on special vehicle displays alongside club vehicle displays.
This year we are looking at gathering together a selection of Hot Rods, American, Custom Cars, VW Trekkers, and Early VW Beetles (Small window, Split, Oval etc), MK 1 and MK 2 Golfs, and VW Coachbuilts. if you have any of these vehicles then please do join in the fun and park your car in the display line up!!! |

We know the clubs that made the effort last year got a lot out of the day having their cars on the arena, we had Christmas theme, a cammo theme, building theme and more besides.
All you need do is have a think of a theme, decorate yourselves and cars and park up where shown on the show field. Your contribution is really valued and it really is fantastic to be ’part’ of the show! We hope you will make the effort in return for our effort in reserving you the best club camping plots!
We have a winners and runners up trophy and a special extra prize to the winning club but we've not decided what just yet! |
