Welcome to the website for one of the most chilled out, laid back, warm and sunny car shows in the UK, at deva we attract a fantastic range of Volkswagen (air and water) and hot rod / american custom show cars. Our venue at Shrewsbury Showground is an 80 acre greenfield site which during the second weekend each June comes alive with a weekend packed full of family and car related activities! The showground is located just 10 mins walk from the market town of Shrewsbury.
The weekend kicks off on the afternoon of Friday the 7th June (gates open from 2 pm) where you have chance to set up your camp and start to enjoy the unique vibe that is Deva Dubs n Rods. On Friday evening the entertainment starts with BB’s & JDG’s VW Related pub quiz in the main bar followed by 3 professional circuit comedians and we end the evening with a few tunes if time allows. Outside the bar we have singer Jordan Brown setting the right vibe for the weekend...
Saturday will bring you a wealth of traders from all over the UK, our daily driver show and shine (with top 10 trophies), the fun fair will be in full flow, we have our bike race with a difference, the inter club 5 a side football competition, and in the evening our infamous and fun themed disco - this years theme is Rocky Horror!!! Fatman Alley will be your outdoor entertainment!
Sunday is the main show day where you will see a stunning array of show cars in the central arena, the quality of which is just jaw dropping! Of course the traders will be busy selling their wares we have some great catering, a childrens magician, our charity auction in aid of BRADS Cancer Foundation, then there is the autojumble, cars 4 sale, club and themed displays, a live camper based band and much much more!
All weekend we have on site security and first aid, along with toilet and site cleaners and one of the most friendly and professional show crews you could wish for.
We do everything in our power to ensure you have the best time possible at the show, without you guys it just wouldn’t be the show it is!
